* Mandatory for all Awareness level responders! This is mandatory training for all responders,
(fire police, EMS, and Fire personnel) that have been trained at awareness level.

They're using a new tool to educate emergency responders like firefighters and police,
as well as the general public, about the dangers associated with power lines.

This course is free and open to everyone. Class size is limited. Ages 14 and up can take the first 3 modules.
18 yrs and up can take the 4th module. Class will run Mondays & Thursdays with an occasional Saturday.

Prerequisites: Age 18, Interior Firefighting (mod 4) - Description: This course is designed to provide fire fighters with the knowledge and skill
objectives to safely perform rescue techniques to remove trapped or lost fire fighters during deteriorating suppression activities.
Included in this course: RIT Team roles and responsibilities, evaluation of case studies, funtion during suppression activites,
lifting and moving techniques, extrication support needs, team building skills, size-up techniques, and structure layout. The fire fighter
will also participate in "live" scenario based evaluations involving a down/trapped fire fighter.
